Honour
Rei begins and ends every session. Respect for the dojo, the coach and the opponent is not optional — it is the entry requirement.
01 Founded 2000 — WKF rules — the No. 1 club in Bulgaria
Karate for children from the age of three, for beginners, for competitors and for adults — in seven halls across Sofia. Twenty-five years in Bulgarian karate and fifteen consecutive years at the top of the national federation ranking.
Scroll02 The club
Over twenty-five years in Bulgarian karate, Tsanev Karate Club has established itself as the number one club in the country — first in the national federation ranking for the last fifteen years, and the source of a large part of the national team.
03 Principles
Rei begins and ends every session. Respect for the dojo, the coach and the opponent is not optional — it is the entry requirement.
How an athlete carries a win and how they carry a loss counts for as much as the score. We ask for the same standard on the tatami and off it.
World, European and Balkan titles are not an accident. They are the result of a method that has kept this club first in Bulgaria for fifteen years running.
Attendance, punctuality and a clean karate suit. Technique follows habit, and habit is built long before the first competition.

08 Questions
No. Come in ordinary sportswear. We will advise on a kimono once you decide to continue.
From three years old, in the Karate for kids group. The whole programme for ages 3 to 7 is built around what children of that age can actually do — coordination, discipline, respect and concentration come before anything else.
No. Beginners train in their own group, at their own pace. The competitive group is there for those who want results, and you move into it only when you and your coach decide you are ready.
